Although associations and foundations do not operate for profit like companies, they are also subject to strict legal regulations. A lawyer in a non-governmental organization (NGO) is not only an advisor in formal matters, but above all a guarantor of compliance with regulations and support in effective management.
We provide assistance and advice in choosing the legal form. We prepare a statute in accordance with the law, taking into account the objectives of the organization. We represent in the registration proceedings of the National Court Register. In the course of our day-to-day activities, we draw up and verify contracts (e.g. with volunteers, donors, project contractors). We handle resolutions of the management board, general meetings of members or councils of foundations. We help in creating regulations and internal procedures.
We represent NGOs before courts and offices (e.g. in the event of disputes with contractors or institutions).
We help with changing the statute, change of the management board, registered office, transformation of the legal form or liquidation of the organization.
